Johanne Inger Kvelstad is a Christian leader and CEO whose life journey is shaped by a deep sense of divine calling from an early age. As a child, she believed God had a global mission for her, often experiencing visions and a strong spiritual awareness that set her apart and led to feelings of isolation.
Despite being shy and facing bullying in school, she developed strong entrepreneurial skills and gained practical business experience working as a secretary. She viewed this period as preparation for her future ministry.
At age 43, she experienced a transformative personal encounter with Jesus, marking a turning point in her spiritual life. However, her journey within organized church settings was challengingโshe faced rejection, accusations, and spiritual conflict, which eventually led her to leave traditional church structures.
She later married her husband, Magne, who remained a steadfast supporter through personal hardships, including serious health struggles that she ultimately overcame.
Her path led her to the global house church movement, where she found alignment with her calling. After initial efforts in Norway, she and her husband were called to missionary work in Uganda, and later relocated to Kenya in 2023 to expand their mission.
Under her leadership, the movement has grown rapidly, now spanning 17 countries with reported membership exceeding one million people. This growth is attributed to a strong emphasis on multiplication, grassroots leadership, and outreach, including radio ministry.
Today, Kvelstad continues to lead actively, working daily with global teams. She is driven by a mission to help individuals discover and fulfill their unique purpose, encouraging faith, perseverance, and personal transformation.
